"Vintage has come around a little earlier this year - we've started today, following a dry Winter and Spring, with warm to hot weather in June and July. Nights have been cool and this is always a good quality sign, of better grape acidity and aroma retention.
So, prospects are high for a top quality harvest, looking forward to what will be the last vintage in the existing red winery, which is due to be rebuilt for the 2018 harvest.
Bring on the first grapes." - David Baverstock
First grape varieties to be harvested: Verdelho, Gouveio and Viosinho
