Passing of Wladimir Bratkowski

Dear Friends

On February 23rd, 2022 Wladimir Sr. Bratkowski - founding father of Chacalli Wines - passed away.

Surrounded by his family, children and grandchildren he gave his final breath. He was peacefull and courageous till the end.

Wladimir was a caring father, grandfather, husband and friend. He was considered a mentor for many in the wine industry. A unique personality, with great dedication, a big heart, a loud laugh and a clear vision in the wine world.

Memories of him still spark joy and laughter. We look back with gratitude upon his life and are grateful for the time we shared.

There will be a service held on March 7th, 2022 at 10.30am at the Sint-Carolus Borromeus Church in Antwerp.
