The vineyards of winery Tornatore are located on the northern flank of volcanic Mount Etna on the island of Sicily. Since 1865, the Tornatore family has been making captivating wines where the terroir of the volcanic environment comes out in every glass. It is one of the region's most respected wineries with a generations-long passion for winemaking and respect for local character.

Tornatore has all the assets to produce top wines: vineyards at altitude on the northern flank, situated on volcanic soil full of minerals, the mild breeze from the mountains that descends and brings coolness,... It is also the coolest wine region on the island with cool nights and warm days. The grapes ripen slowly and retain freshness. Especially local grape varieties are given a stage, such as Nerello Mascalese or Carricante. Unique names for grapes from which ditto wines are made.
